The SHOP FOX® Adjustable Mobile bases are the first mobile bases designed strong enough to move heavy machines on a continual basis, be adjustable to fit a variety of machines and be leveled without the use the of shims or tools. Most shop floors are not perfectly level. To move the machine, you reach down and simply turn the knobs on the two plungers counter-clock wise to allow the weight of the machine to rest on the wheels, and then move the machine to the new location. To lock and level the machine, simply turn the plunger knobs clockwise until locked and level.
The SHOP FOX® bases are made with the heaviest gauge steel of any of the mobile bases on the market. In most cases, the thickness of steel used is twice that of other mobile bases. These are the first industrial quality mobile bases to be made available at an affordable price!
